Should Pornography be Banned from the Internet? by Peter Midnight
Today this question came up in English class, below the question is my response:
Should pornography be banned from the Internet?
Pornography should not be banned from the internet because it is a form of press. Freedom of the press is guaranteed under the First Amendment to the Constitution. There are no restrictions on press in the Constitution. Publishing on the internet is the same as publishing on paper. Since the Internet is a form of press, pornography should not be banned from it.
